About Us
We are just a small group of Residents who thought that this area and the residents could benefit in one way or another from a Residents group. Our only motive is to make life better for everyone. We all get problems sooner or later maybe we can find a few answers together. What drives us
We like Hastings. We always have but it has become rundown and we are not just talking about the houses and the pier. It is almost like the London bug has hit us. It is more like London now than London is. It is more about who has most rather than who does not have enough.
PeopleWe don,t talk as much anymore and because of that we don,t help each other as much any more and there is an element of fear that has crept into our every day lives. We are afraid of our own children and it is not surprising if you take a midnight walk through the town centre on a saturday but we can turn that around if we choose to and if you think that is frightening wait until you have a heart attack or a car accident and find The Conquest has been closed that is going to be the longest ride to Eastbourne you have ever had. Conquest is not the best hospital or the cleanest but it is the only one we have we can make them keep that open.
Making it Work
It is not enough to agree with what we are saying or what we are trying to do. Join us today. Lend a hand. Sponsor a young apprentice. We all have a moan at polticians and councils the best way for us to show them how ineffective they are is to get up off our bums and do it better! and we can. Lets make them ask us for support! We can do this. Trust Me I am not a doctor or a politician. I am a tenant My Vote Counts!
If you cannot help or if you don,t want to because its just not your thing you could still sponsor a young apprentice. Its only £1.00 a week or you could donate to our film library or display a poster. Doing a little is much better than doing nothing.

These are the valueable lessons we all learned by our dealings with 1066 Housing Association.
Never trust Red Lake Residents association because they are run by 1066 Housing Association.
Never trust our local so called social workers who rely on 1066 Housing Association.
Don`t send our children to The Bridge incase 1066 Housing Association lock them out.
Never trust Hastngs borough council or Jeremy Birch to do anything other than Promise.
1066 Housing Association calls itself a charity but it is a business that acts in it`s own interest and it is not under supervision because of it`s good behaviour or charitable actions.
Their idea of Tenant Involvement is Pay your rent and do not ask for play area`s.
That`s our experience!
and we care enough to have 25,000 leaflets distributed in August asking you to sign our petition
