A good start to a new page is rare but that is what we have today. Robert and Rachel finally move back into their repaired home in Beckley today so there will be celebrations there and Mark and Debbie move into their temporary home so that their home can be properly repaired so hopefully they will be feeling good as well. Our own situation has deteriorated following the terrible behaviour of Amicus Horizon surveyor Ron Grimmer and the refusal of Darren Goodsell to communicate or take any positive action in regards to our own repair needs, most of which were caused by Amicus Horizon themselves or Booker and Best, We did receive a letter from Darren Goodsell inviting us to phone him the recordings on the left shows the usual sincerity. We will keep trying but we are dealing with someone who has consistently lied over a very long period of time and who has refused to answer telephone calls/letters/emails for almost a year, so our hopes are not high.

We have made quite a good start on getting our house put right by employing good people ourselves, so far we have completed one bedroom and the bathroom and they have also made a start on the top landing but it has been difficult saying goodbye to some of the things we have been forced to sell.

This is disgusting and unfair. I really feel for the tenant. He had to sell his own belongings!!My son is autistic and I fear for his future and watching this and seeing more horror from unfeeling greedy selfish bullies adds to my fear for my son.I hope this tenant is over his/her ordeal from these lowlife bullies

You worry for your son and I admire you for it but when you get landlords and councils who behave badly it is`nt just our children or our disabled family member who suffers most, quite often they don`t suffer at all because you all care so well for them but whoever is caring suffers because their already difficult life is made much much harder, never forget the carers because they are all real hero`s/heroines applause to them all.

I received a letter from Amber Rudd M.P today in response to our complaints about our landlord and she expresses genuine concern and states that she is making enquiries on behalf of a number of residents and that she has made Mr Jack warren, Managing Director opf Amicus Horizon aware of these matters.I have accepted an invitation to go and talk to her in July and I am genuinely hopeful that she will accept the evidence that I intend to pass to her when I see her.
I still have had no success in contacting Darren Goodsell and I still have had no response from Anne Bird - Jeremy Birch - Jane Porter.

Letter to Mr Jack Warren Amicus Horizon Managing Director. 21st/06/2010
Dear Mr Warren,
I am writing to you because I have received a letter from Amber Rudd M.P informing me that you are aware of our past and current problems.
I would like to make you aware that following the incident on our property involving you area surveyor Mr Ron Grimmer I have complied with Mr Darren Goodsells instructions and I have proof that I have despatched two copies of a recording that my 13 year old daughter made of Mr Grimmer. Mr Goodsell invited me to contact him on the telephone and I have and will continue to record these attempts but the truth is that Mr Goodsell has failed to respond to any enquiry/complaint for almost a year, the last time that we spoke with Mr Goodsell he stated that it was your company`s policy to cease contact with any tenant in dispute with your company, he said that ceasing contact included all maintenance/repairs/adaptations.
The housing ombudsman has also stated that I done everything that could reasonably be expected of me and that I have been deprived of access to your complaints procedure.
Jane Porter promised to telephone me on several occasions but never has.
My requests for repairs adaptations date back to November 2005 and the behaviour of your staff has been spiteful vindictive and in some cases illegal we have published some of these occurences and the harm and damage that they have caused on our website www.1066ha.co.uk http://www.1066ha.co.uk and we will continue to do so until the nightmare treatment we are suffering is brought to an end. The Equality and Human Rights Commission has agreed to refer our file.
We are not problem tenants we are tenants suffering a problem landlord.
